Road Running Series 2018

The Road Championship Series events are now set. Members need to finish in at least three out of the four events in the series to be in with a chance of being “EMAC Road Runner of the Year“.   The events are listed below so that you don’t miss an event (and therefore your chance of winning the series) :

Sun 19th August 2018  –  Kimbolton Half
After the first round of this years road runners race league completed, Paul Mingay takes an early lead with a stunning Age Grade performance of 90.0% at the Kimbolton 1/2 Marathon, followed by Nick Malpeli in 2nd place 82.1% & Brian Corleys in 3rd 82.0%. The best three events from four count, so it is still all to play for, so don’t miss out and enter today. To prevent any confusion when presenting the medals and working out the scoring can I ask that you could confirm to me when you have entered any future events, just in case it is not picked up on entry system. Sun 21st October 2018  –  Leigh on Sea Striders 10km – Entries – The route heads out from Leigh-on-Sea towards Chalkwell before heading back to Leigh-on-Sea and the finish

Sun 28th October 2018  –  Fenland 10 –  Entries will open shortly – Flat 10 mile route, ideal for fast times

Sun 25th November 2018  –  Wolverton 5  –  Entries – A NEW fast flat course on traffic-free ‘redways’ at Willen Lakeside, Milton Keynes
