EMAC Road Race Champs 2017 : Wolverton 5 – 25 Nov 2017

A grand day out in Milton Keynes for 24 EMAC Road Runners today competing in the Wolverton which was the last of the EMAC Road Races in the 2017 series. EMAC Road Series 2017

A reminder to those members interested in Road Running that the next event in the series of four for 2017 is the Kimbolton Half which takes place on Sunday 20 Aug 2017 organised by NiceTri.   This event is is based at Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire with the start and finish taking place in the grounds of the castle with almost 13 miles of the route on a lovely undulating road course around West Cambridgeshire. British & Irish Masters Cross Country International

England Athletics Masters Association invite all runners who qualify to run for England to apply for selection for the above event which will be held in Londonderry, Northern Ireland on Saturday 18 November 2017. Race Categories are Women 35 to 70+ and Men 35 to 75+ in 5 year age groups.  The selectors will look at runners performances in 2017 in BMAF and EAMA club races, over 5K and 10K on the road, track and country, as well as in other appropriate races.  BMAF and…

EMAC T&F League 2017

Remember that on the 3 May 2017 it will be the first match in the EMAC T&F League 2017 at St Ives, Bedford or Thurrock depending upon which Division your  club is in.   This year the league is sponsored by Athlete in Mind. BMAF 10k Open Road Race Championships 2017

The BMAF 10k Road Race Championships were held at Gravesend Cyclopark Sun 9 April and played host to the 10k race in the EMAC 2017 Road Race Series.  A gloriously sunny day which was great for sun bathing whilst waiting for the start or the results to be announced but a tad warm for many of the competitors. BMAF Open Cross Country Championships 2017

The BMAF Open Cross Country Championship for 2017 will be held on Saturday 18 March 2017 at Wavertree Playground, Wellington Road, Liverpool. The first race is for all women and M65+, is over a 6k course and starts at 12:00hrs.  The second race is for M35 – 64, is over an 8k course and starts at 13:00hrs. More details and race entries taken online via the BMAF OpenTrack system   Please note there is no EOD.  Entries to be completed by Sun 5 March 2017.

EMAC has again got one club entry available for the Virgin London Marathon being held on Sunday 23 April 2017. Any EMAC Runners Fancy Brighton Marathon 2017 Place?

We have received confirmation that  England Athletics registered athletes can now apply for a guaranteed entry into the 2017 Brighton Marathon.  Entries are limited per club according to the number of first claim registered members and EMAC can secure up to two places.
