EMAC T&F League 2017
Remember that on the 3 May 2017 it will be the first match in the EMAC T&F League 2017 at St Ives, Bedford or Thurrock depending upon which Division your club is in. This year the league is sponsored by Athlete in Mind. Excitingly, Andy Cohen-Wray, who runs Athlete in Mind, has instituted “Athlete of the Match” awards for this season. Healthy Ageing – On TV
Tune in to ITV “Tonight” Programme on Thursday 13 April at 19:30hrs to watch an interesting programme on healthy ageing that should feature some footage from the BMAF Indoor and an interview with Carole Filer (EMAC), Colin Field, Delbir Singh Deol, Tony Bowman, Richard Pitcairn-Knowles and Charles Eugster.
BMAF 10k Open Road Race Championships 2017
The BMAF 10k Road Race Championships were held at Gravesend Cyclopark Sun 9 April and played host to the 10k race in the EMAC 2017 Road Race Series. A gloriously sunny day which was great for sun bathing whilst waiting for the start or the results to be announced but a tad warm for many of the competitors. Fifteen EMAC members took part and many featured in the BMAF awards. The results have been published on our Results page and available below :
