The club held its AGM on Friday 11 April 2025.

We are pleased to welcome Deborah Hill and Shane Lawrence to the club committee.
We have vacancies for a Chair and a Communications officer on the committee as these roles remain unfilled.
Various reports were received and approved by the AGM.
At the meeting we asked members their opinions on incorporating EMAC to provide a level of protection to the committee members and club members regarding liability. The AGM was not asked to decide whether EMAC should incorporate but the consensus was that possible incorporation would be explored using the resources provided by England Athletics. The meeting was also asked about EMAC paying expenses to individuals. We have a long established tradition of paying expenses to officials helping at our events. We also pay expenses when necessary to those helping organise our events. The AGM was asked about paying expenses to athletes competing for EMAC in team competitions such as the inter area events. No conclusion was reached although it was noted if the club did make payments in this area it could effect membership fees as EMAC has less than £4 available per member per year after affiliation fees and financial costs are paid.
