We have 49 EMAC athletes, Pescara this week for the European Masters Championships. I’ll keep adding to this list, please check for updates. I will go through the results and also post people’s results even without medals. Rooting on all EMAC competitors and team GB!

Emma ‘el Beardo’ Beardmore – Gold Medal in the W35 Weight Throw with a throw of 15.18m on 24th of Sept.; Gold Medal in the W35 Discus in a throw of 39.94m on 25th of Sept; Bronze medal in the W35 Shot Put in a throw of 11.27m on 22nd of Sept, Silver Medal in W35 Hammer with a throw of 47.33m on 23rd of Sept.
Ian Williamson – Gold Medal in the M40 1500m final in a time of 4:12.31 on 23rd of Sept.
Joanne Ryan Gold Medal in the W35 4×100 relay which had an overall time of 50.30s on 25th Sep.
Andrea Jenkins – Gold Medal in the W45 Hammer with a throw of 43.02m on 23rd of Sep, Silver medal in the W45 Weight Throw with a throw of 13.99m on 24th of Sept.
Brian Slaughter – Gold Medal in the M65 Decathlon with 6763 points on the 22nd and 23rd of Sept.
Carole Filer – Gold Medal in the W65 Long Jump with a jump of 4.13m with a +2.8 wind and another Gold Medal in the W65 4x100m relay which had an overall time of 61.02s on 25th of Sept.
Alison Bourgeois – Gold Medal in the W70 1500m in a time of 6:09.89 on the 23rd of Sept.
Gold Medal in the W70 400m in a time of 75.92s and was 1st place in the semi-final heat 2 82.14s on the 26th of Sept.
Aleksander Swiecicki – Gold Medal in the Team M75 6km Cross Country with an overall team time of 1h13:16 and a Silver Medal in the M75 6km Cross Country in a time of 22:54 on 24th of Sept.
Anne Martin – Gold Medal in the W85 Long Jump in a jump of 1.83m with a wind of -0.2 on 25th Sep.
Gold Medal in the 400m in a time of 2:29.75 on the 26th of Sept.
Silver Medals
Melanie Peddle Silver medal in the Team W50 10Km Road Walk in an overall time of 3h01:10.
Wendy Smith – Silver Medal in the Team W40 8km Cross Country with a team overall time of 1h32:34.
Elke Hausler – Silver Medal in the Team W60 8km Cross Country with a team overall time of 1h36:42.
Tennyson James – Silver Medal in the M65 200m final in a time of 26.93s on 24th Sept. and in his semi-final he was 3rd with a time of 27.28s to qualify for the final.
Bronze Medal in the M65 400m in a time of 61.82s and he was in semi-final 2 where he was 2nd in a time of 63.01s to get to the final on 26th of Sept.
Emily McMahon– Silver in the W70 in the 200m Hurdles in a time of 40.69s on 22nd of Sept.
Joylyn Saunders-Mullins Silver in the Finals of the W70 200m in a time of 33.96s. In the semi-final she came 2nd in a time of 34.42s on the 24th of Sept.
Silver medal in the W70 400m in a time of 78.37s and in the semi-final she was 2nd place in Heat 2 in a time of 83.88s on 26th of Sept.

W35 – Nina Brennan was in Heat 2 of the 400m and came 3rd place in a time of 65.32s and 11th overall.
Debbie O’Connell was in Heat 3 of the 400m and came 5th place in a time of 66.55s and was 12th overall.
W55 – Melanie Peddle 5th in the 10km Road Walk in a time of 60:33.
W60 – Christine Anthony 8th in the final of the 400m with a time of 71.66s and she was 3rd in her heat to get to the final in a time of 72.13s.
M45 – Dave Blade Brown 6th place in Semi-Final 2 of the 400m in a time of 55.49s and 12th place overall on 26th of Sept.
