Road Running
For members keen to compete in road running, EMAC offers a Road Running League and a selection of Championship events.
The Road Running League takes place annually, with scoring based on WAVA percentages from that year’s nominated races. The series will usually consist of seven events over distances ranging from 5K to Half Marathon.
Selected races from the Road Running League will be nominated as Championship events, with medals presented to the top 3 in each age category.
The races chosen for this year’s league are:
10th Mar – Mike Groves 10K
14th Apr – Flitwick 10K
21st June – Bury Pacers Friday 5*
7th July – Ware 10
15th Sept – Pleshey HM*
6th Oct – Town and Gown 10K Cambridge*
27th Oct – Fenland 10
*Championship event with medals awarded
