Notice of EGM Sunday 10th December 2023 by Zoom
In April 2023 EMAC held its AGM. Unfortunately, the meeting was not quorate and so none of the necessary business of the meeting could be completed.
We did not hold elections for officers and we did not approve the accounts and financial report.
The committee members agreed to continue in post until an EGM could be arranged. With the summer Track & Field programme out of the way we would now like to hold the AGM on Sunday 10 December at 3:30pm by Zoom.
The Agenda will include:
– Endorsing the current committee for the period to our next AGM in the first quarter of 2024.
– Approving the Accounts and Financial Reports for year ended 31st December 2022.
– Considering the committee’s recommendations regarding changes to the club rules*
*England Athletics set out recommendations on Club Standards. These changes are designed to move EMAC closer to those club standards and were shared before the AGM.
