Good Afternoon guys – The first round of this year’s EMAC road running series took part this morning 18th of August 2019 in typical British summertime weather – torrential rain at the Kimbolton 1/2 marathon. The sun did make an appearance for the final part of the race for most, but wet feet were the order of the day. 10 EMAC members made the start line and it was great to catch up with so many of you at the end and put faces to names and vice versa.
The highest age graded score at today’s event was
84% by David Hudson- who not only finished 2nd overall in an amazing time for that course – 70:36 but was also the MV35 winner.
Di Baldwin took the honours in the FV60 category 1:44:13 – AG 83%.
I managed to slot into 3rd 77:39 and 80.4% to win the MV45 Cat.
Colin Chambers 1:49:37 & AG 76.8% Gold MV70
Tracy English 89:07 & AG 76.7% Gold FV40
Karl Bedingfield 90:21 & AG 76% Gold MV55
Stephen Pretty 97:02 & AG 74.9% Gold MV60
