Road Running Championship 2019 Final Standings. Yesterday’s Waterside 10K brought to a close the 2019 road runners championship and over 45 of you competed in at least one race across the year and hopefully enjoyed taking part. We witnessed some fantastic performances across the season, the highest age grading being Paul Mingay’s 93.6% at the Fenland 10. EMAC Road Series 2017

A reminder to those members interested in Road Running that the next event in the series of four for 2017 is the Kimbolton Half which takes place on Sunday 20 Aug 2017 organised by NiceTri.   This event is is based at Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire with the start and finish taking place in the grounds of the castle with almost 13 miles of the route on a lovely undulating road course around West Cambridgeshire. BMAF 10k Open Road Race Championships 2017

The BMAF 10k Road Race Championships were held at Gravesend Cyclopark Sun 9 April and played host to the 10k race in the EMAC 2017 Road Race Series.  A gloriously sunny day which was great for sun bathing whilst waiting for the start or the results to be announced but a tad warm for many of the competitors. EMAC has again got one club entry available for the Virgin London Marathon being held on Sunday 23 April 2017. Any EMAC Runners Fancy Brighton Marathon 2017 Place?

We have received confirmation that  England Athletics registered athletes can now apply for a guaranteed entry into the 2017 Brighton Marathon.  Entries are limited per club according to the number of first claim registered members and EMAC can secure up to two places. Two EMAC members at World Masters Mountain Championships 2016

Two EMAC members from Marshall Milton Keynes AC competed in the annual World Masters Mountain Running Championships held in the North-Western Italian town of Susa, not far from the mountainous Italian/French border, 50km west of Turin.  Ursula Ghaleb was contesting her third whilst Brian Graves, a veteran of these events, taking part in his 18th.
